Oahu: Day 4 & 5

I apparently didn't take any photos until lunch time this day haha. #worstblogger. Anyway, remember those delicious drinks I talked about earlier? Well, you can also get them IN A PINEAPPLE. I may have paid $20 for this, but it was worth every penny.

On our way to the pool we saw Minnie haha! I loved this guy getting a picture just the two of them. (Side note, I really wish you could enter emojis in Blogger.)

Ok so I literally laughed out loud at this photo. We all did the chin shelf and MINNIE DID IT WITH US. My friend was like, "Of course she did... she's a real person!" But I don't know. I guess it was just funny that she played along haha.

After dinner we explored around the lagoon and watched the sun set. We originally tried to walk on that rock barefoot but we almost died, so we had to go back and get shoes hahaha.

We ate at Monkey Pod again this night. The first time we ate there I was literally falling asleep at the table, so naturally I took zero photos. The second time I got the spinach, fennel, and ricotta pizza and it was SO GOOD. We also tried the garlic and truffle oil fries, as well as the house fries. They were both delish, but I prefered the house.

We were going to go to the spa until we saw how expensive it was lol. So instead we an at home spa night and I finally finished watching Bridesmaids. (I feel asleep during it every night before lol.)

The next morning, I was so sad this was the last time I could go to Island Vintage Coffee haha. I went there THREE TIMES THIS DAY.

Ugh this book was terrible. It's literally the first Stephen King book I've read that I didn't like.

The second time I went to the coffee shop I got this most delicious strawberry, feta, and spinach salad with balsamic dress. It was seriously soooo good. I tried to recreate it at home and I just failed, miserably.

The third time I went back I got all these macarons! They had oreo flavored and they were literally the most delicious macarons I have ever had. I miss them terribly.

We went to Roy's again for dinner our last night in Hawaii. When the waiter found out I didn't eat meat he had the chefs make this delicous veggie stir fry! It was so good and considerably bigger than my last meal there hahahaha.

Ok, also, if you check in at their restaurant on Yelp and leave them a review you get a free molten cake. A WIN FOR ALL.

And that's the last of the Hawaii pictures! It was so fun ! I've never been on a trip with friends before and I loved it!

Oahu: Day 2 & 3

I woke up at like, 4:30 am this day haha. I LOVE waking up early, so I counted it as a win and went down to the local coffee shop as soon as it opened.

I got an a├žai bowl and went back for breakfast every day after that haha. Needless to say, you should all add Island Vintage Coffee to your list of places to go.

After breakfast we pretty much just had a chill beach day. It was nice just to relax by the pool and get tan. My main goal on the trip was to get tan and I think I met it like 60%.

I finally finished this book! I thought it was really good. Stephen King is my forever favorite.

We ate at one of the restaurants at the resort and got these really good drinks! Mine was like a pina colada made with guava and it was SO GOOD.

Needless to say, day 2 was a good one! I love having days where I do literally nothing haha.

Day 3 started out with breakfast on the beach again.

I went to Island Vintage Coffee... again haha. This day I tried the mango and peanut butter sandwich. It was really good! It was a lot for the morning, but I would hands down get it for lunch.

How cute is this Mickey Mouse pretzel?

I didn't take many pictures this day because we went on an excursion on a catamaran. If you know me you know I have a fear of open water and basically avoid boats at all costs. So, I'm pretty proud of myself for getting on this one. I didn't go snorkeling or eat any food, but I did make friends with a 3 year old named Dylan who was also scared of the water haha.

Isn't this the cutest bridge? If I had to propose I would do it here hahaha.

Oahu: Day 1

Yay Hawaii! I went with two of my friends and it was SO MUCH FUN! We got in pretty late, so we didn't do much the first day. We pretty much just explored the hotel and got dinner.

When we got to our resort they said, "Welcome home!" and gave us leis hahaha. It was so perfect.

The view from our room! Super gorgeous.

And the night time view. I wanted to get one of those really cool long exposure photos, but I left my tripod at home :/ Things to try next time :)

We ate at Roy's for dinner. Any restaurant that provides edamame is a win in my book. The first night I got the "mango and cheese" croistini appetizer because I figured it would be enough. HAHA. I forgot how small the portions at fancy restauratns are lol. Needless to say I ate every last bit of it. ALSO THIS MOLTEN CAKE WAS LITERALLY HEAVEN.

After dinner we wandered around the resort. They had it all cute and Christmas-y and it was amazing. We layed on the beach and chatted. It was so weird to hear the ocean but not be able to see it yet haha. I love getting to places late at night and then waking up the next morning and being able to finally see what it looks like.

Part 2 tomorrow! Also sorry if splitting vacations by day is annoying IRL, but I love looking back on posts of my trips so the blog world will have to deal haha.
