01.01.19 - Disneyland!

So this was my first time in Disneyland since I was literally 8 years old. I didn't really have any expectations, and it was actually a lot more fun than I was thinking it would be! We went on pretty much all the rides on my list (my sister gave me a list lol) and got to try so many treats! The treats were my favorite part lol.

These churros were so good! Also right after this we went Soarin' Over The World which was really cool and the Car's ride which was definitely my favorite. We did that fast pass thing, and it was cool and helped things go a lot faster I think!

I got the bread bowl from this Cafe and it was seriously so good! You can see them making the sourdough bread too which was really cool.

We split up for a bit and J and I went on Space Mountain which was actually probably my least favorite. It was just jerky and dark the whole time?

This tigger tail from the Winnie The Pooh area was my favorite! I almost didn't get it because I thought it was going to just be chocolate and caramel covered marshmallows, but it was actually orange flavored chocolate and caramel which made it SO GOOD. It seriously tasted like a creamsicle and was probably my favorite treat of the trip!

We got the mint julep drink and Mickey beignets from the New Orlean's area and they were both so good too!

We did more rides and then did dinner at Flo's, which was a lot better than I was expecting! I just got a burger and fries.

We only got crappy iPhone photos together, but I don't mind!

These macarons were another of my favorite treats! I also almost didn't get these, because I haven't been super craving macarons for a while, but I did just for the experience and they were for sure the best macarons I have ever had! The filling is raspberries, so it makes them really fresh and not too sweet. For sure a must try!

And, that was our trip to Disneyland! It was really fun and I would definitely go again, which was something I probably wouldn't have said prior to this trip haha.

XOXO

Tokyo Disneyland

Ok, if you know me 90% you know that I am NOT a Disneyland person lol. I literally feel like I have to explain why so you guys don't hate me.
  • I don't really enjoy animated movies, so I think that's a big part of it.
  • I don't remember watching any Disney movies growing up. My mom is pretty granola (when she reads this she will say, "I am not!!!" and we usually didn't have T.V. (I LOVE this in hindsight and am planning on not having T.V. when we have babes, side note.) When I did watch T.V. it was usually Power Rangers, Nickelodeon, or Cartoon Network. Like make a theme park about Courage the Cowardly Dog and I'll be there for sure.
  • I don't like theme parks.
    •  I don't like being hot. Like I can't handle it.
    •  I get motion sickness really easy. Or at least I did as a kid.
    •  When I was 11 we moved from Vernal, Utah to American Fork, Utah. This meant we were like 3 hours closer to the "big theme park" and we went like 80 times I swear. It was always hot and we always ate weird food and there were always weird people and I always got motion sickness and I just HATED it. Like so much. I haven't been to Lagoon since lol.
  • I don't like waiting in long lines.
  • I am stubborn AF and people are ALWAYS trying to convince me to do ish I don't want to do. "They'll be like, "Come on, Em! It's not that big of a deal!" And I'll be like, "No." And they think for some reason that if they keep badgering me I will be like, "Alright!!" But it never happens because like I said, I am very, very stubborn. So I also don't like theme parks because I hate this exchange and think it's very annoying. Like let me live my life and you live yours, ya know?
So, that is why I am not a Disneyland person. And that is important to know before reading this post.
