Hi there!

Hi! Welcome to my corner of the internet. I'm a 26 year old therapist, feminist, photographer, and shop owner currently living in Seattle, Washington. My shop, Dealign with Feelings, is geared toward destigmatizing and normalizing mental health. I'm biased, but I think we have some pretty cute stuff :) Click the "shop" tab to see what we've got! I mainly post about my travel and daily life on here. With other random musings thrown in. I post more frequently (and about more feminism) on my Instagram @emmycoletti, so make sure you're following me there. Thanks for stopping by!

A Happy List: 179

1/ We got SO MUCH snow on Saturday! It was amazing! Lots of snow pictures to come.

2/ I started doing this thing to J that we call "being a ram". Basically at random times I will just bend over the top half of my body and ram into him over and over lol. Anyway, we were at a concert waiting for the band to start and I felt something hit my back. I turned around and J was being a ram!!!!!!

3/ We bought a pre-baked Gingerbread kit and I don't think I can ever go back to using grahm crackers!

4/ How quiet it gets in the winter. I always forget, it's so crazy. It's like the whole world ceases to exist.

5/ I went to dinner with friends over the weekend (Which is happy in and of itself because I have practically no friends in Connecticut. Like I could literally count them on one hand lol.) and one of my friends found out my birthday is coming up and told the waiter. It's been FOREVER since I've had the whole people-singing-to-me-at-a-restaurant experience hahaha. They also brought us a free dessert that was SO GOOD! Anyway, so I technically had a little birthday dinner with friends! See mom! I have friends!

6/ J's hair "officially" fits into a man bun, according to him. I am very into it.

7/ Tucker has been going back to sleep after waking up at 6! It's nice because it's still dark outside at 6 and we live on the border of a rough area. There are always people walking around and it makes me nervous being out there alone at 6 in the morning in the dark lol. So, I have been trying to train Tucker to sleep in until 7 and it's gone ok!

8/ I am almost halfway through with my internship! Woohoo! This is not the place for me to talk about my internship (I keep that for the private posts lol) but let me just say, there is a reason people are not interns forever!

9/ I have been loving the different shades of blue nail polish I got from Zoya's Black Friday sale. Painting my nails is one of my favorite self care things to do! Now I just wish they would grow out again lol.

10/ That first application of a new mascara lol. Nothin' like it.

Snow day!

We have only been in Connecticut for one winter and it was really mild. So I got an impression it didn't snow much here? BUT GUYS LOOK AT THIS! This amazing, beautiful, angelic goodness blessed our sweet earth on Saturday. I was stuck inside writing papers all day but I got out right before the sun set to take some pictures! I miss taking pictures just for the sake of taking pictures haha. Every time I am in school I lose such big parts of myself. All the more reason to graduate!

Anyway, enjoy the pics!

The next morning I woke up and it was still majestic. Not as majestic as fresh snow (nothing is!) but it still feel so good to see snow on the ground. And lots of it!

I love living somewhere with trees!

Please observe Tucker in his natural habitat, looking out the window lol. It's too bad he chews things up, or else I would love to let him look out the window all day while we are gone at work!

Here's to hoping we get more snow! We are headed to Ireland next week and I am majorly crossing my fingers they get snow, because how cute!

Plz Read For The Best Photo Of Tucker I Have Ever Taken

I am wanting to do more every day photography so I can remember what this stage of life is like. So, here I am, taking Tucker out to go to the bathroom in front of our apartment complex lol.

I have been loving this cardigan! The arms are long just like I like them!

Tucker's high fives are so aggressive lol. Also, we decided he is more Border Collie than Australian Shepherd. So then I was reading about Border Collies and read that they are one of the smartest dog breeds. So then I was looking up tricks that people have taught their Border Collies and there are some NEAT things out there. I immediately ordered a dog training clicker hahaha. So if you have ever seen any cool dog tricks I should teach him, comment it down below and I'll add it to the list.

THIS IS THE PHOTO YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!! So I taught him to balance treats on his nose. This is him after I said "good boy!" and he is trying to catch it hahaha. I am dying. It is so funny and creepy all at the same time. If this is what you came here for, then congratulations. You can live the rest of your life in peace now.

Oh yeah, so here's what I taught him to do. These days I eat Cheez-Its often and Tucker will come lay by me every time I do because I balance them on his nose and let him eat them lol.

In other news, I really need to get a haircut. I was going to go on Monday, but J was like, "Oh I need one too, we could go together?" I thought it was so cute he wanted to get haircuts together lol. So we are going to go on Saturday! I think I am just going to get like 5 inches trimmed. I was going to cut it short because I feel like it's just gross. But then I realized it may just be the humidity. So I am waiting until we are back on the west coast and will reevaluate hair length then.
