Shop My Home

Hi! I get messages about stuff a lot so I figured I would link it all here so you can reference it any time. I loveeeeee interior design stuff but I ALSO love a bargain. So, most things linked are going to be $50 and under. I am a firm believer that it doesn't take a lot of money to create a cozy space. Just a good eye for sales and some creativity!

This post contains affiliate links. Thanks for shopping through them so the time it took me to put this post together was worth it hahaha.

Bedroom:

So we actually got our bed frame off of FB Marketplace, but it is the Mercer41 Lavaca Upholsteered Platform Bed in a King size. I am pleasantly surprised! It came with gold and chrome legs, so you can choose which color you want. Also, something that annoyed me in other bed frames were how low the bed was to the ground. This one sits higher without a box spring and is exactly what I was hoping for!

I splurged a bit for our nightstands since we haven't had nightstands that aren't a cinderblock or kid's IKEA play table since we got married 😂I got these midcentury wood nightstands during a 30% off sale and am just tickled to actually have nightstands to put stuff in!

Our rug was (and still is!) only $99. It's pretty thin, but since it's over carpet it doesn't matter too much. I really like it so far and used the Nesting With Grace rug tips which make our room look so much better with it under the bed partially, instead of our huge wall to wall rug we had before.

Our duvet insert is this one from Amazon. It had tons of amazing reviews and I saw multiple people on some interior design FB groups recommend it. So far, I am very pleased! It is really fluffy. I sized up to a cal king and am excited to see how fluffy it looks in our king duvet cover.

I went with the contrast hemp duvet cover from Buffy because of their sustainability and I really like it iso far. Tucker sleeps on it a lot and I don't feel like it shows a lot of his hair.

Our quilt is from Target and I wasn't expecting it to be as soft or feel as good quality as it does!

Our pillows are also from Amazon and I'm also very pleasantly surprised! I spent big $$$ on a pillow from Cariloha and didn't love it. Tried the infamous Purple pillow and didn't love it. But give me this 2 pack from Amazon and I'm happy!

It has taken me a long time to find the perfect sheets, and I have found them at last! These double brushed microfiber sheets from Malouf are IT, folks. They hold up well after being washed and don't pill AT ALL (a deal breaker for me). Not to mention they are so incredibly soft! I also think they are at a great price point for the quality. Trust me, you'll never go back! We had a set for our queen bed, and you bet I bought another set when we upgraded to a king!

I was sent this silk pillowcase from Your Girl Products a few months ago and WOW. I didn't realize the effects a pillowcase has on my hair until I switched to silk! I feel like I wake up with the same hair I went to bed with! She also has silk scrunchies which I also adore! I made sure to bring both with me when we stayed with family this summer.

Kitchen:

Living room:

My favorite thing about my living room is BY FAR my flameless, remote controlled candles. They are so affordable and add the perfect touch of cozy! I use reusable batteries with them.

Also, I get most of my books from Thrift Books for super cheap.

Bathroom:

I have been on the hunt for soft bath towels, and I am convinced these bath sheets from Cariloha are the best. First of all, they are "bath sheets" and therefore bigger than your normal towel. This has been a lifesaver to me when I get out of the shower and am sick! I can just lay down wrapped in a bath blanket haha.

They are also SO SOFT. Like, seriously. And made sustainably from bamboo!

Random:

I love this bookstand! I use it all the time during meals or while I'm laying down and reading. I think it would be a cute decoration propping a book open as well.
