Living My 10th Grade Dream

Wednesday, August 28, 2019
Last night we got some dessert (!!!) and walked around the lake. It's wild because I remember visiting my uncle in Seattle when I was in 10th grade and thinking, "If I could live anywhere, I would live by Green Lake in Seattle."

And now, 10 years later, I live 15 minutes away! Like whaaaaa. I am so happy to feel like I have finally found "my place"... and now I'm just hoping it stays "my place" when it gets all gross and rainy lolololol.

So Blank Space cafe definitely needs to be added to your list! They have v delish ice cream and you can add such fun toppings! And then go walk around the lake for a bit! We saw they have kayaks and want to go back!

It has been a really good summer and I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited for a moody, rainy fall! I just need to get Tucker a little raincoat and then we're all set haha.

Life Lately / Photo Dump

Tuesday, August 27, 2019
I got this NASA shirt for like $8 at Marshall's and I wear it every day I swear to you.

Sometimes my clients have the cutest style/things, but I feel like it's weird to ask them where they got it hahah. One of my clients had lilac nails and I was in love. So I grabbed the lilac Ella + Mila from Target and I'm in loveeeee.

Me and Tucker go to the dog park every day and it's actually so fun. Without a dog I would probably never leave the house let's be honest.

Jake is cute and made me breakfast

So are these pig tails cute or nah

On the weekdays I'm like, "Let's get a treat to make today more fun" and then on the weekend I'm like, "Let's get a treat to celebrate" and it's just a vicious cycle haha. Turns out we have a Dick's pretty close to us so we got shakes and fries, which were both delish!

The angle that comes with me laying on the floor and Tucker hovering above me is my favorite.

I put some stuff up in our room! This tapestry from India has come with me everywhere and I love it. And my gallery wall is now sitting on my dresser. I like it!

I waited so long for We Happy Few to come out and so far it has been as good as I thought it would be! Playing as Sally is so hard though. You have a baby to take care of and you have to use syringes to knock people out, which means you have to craft knock out juice and it's just a whole thing. It is fun though!

I have been obsessed with chocolate covered strawberries lately. Also Bachelor in Paradise! I am going to be so sad when it's over and we have to wait like 6 months for it to come out again argh.

These nails are some of my favorite I've done! I love turning on a show and whipping out my nail kit haha.

D8 Nite

Monday, August 26, 2019

Our nice neighbors gave us a gift card and we finally drove downtown to use it a few weekends ago! I was all "it will take so long to get downtown... parking will be expensive..." but PLOT TWIST because it took us like 15-25 minutes on a Friday and parking was literally $1 hahahahah.

I'm like ?!?!?!? We need to go downtown more often!!

We went to TanakaSan and it was pretty good! I got a bento box that had salmon, rice, potato, blueberries, pickles, kimchi, deviled egg... and some other stuff!

If you have any recommendations for stuff in downtown Seattle, let me now!

XOXO

Chopping My Hair + Pike's Market

Saturday, August 17, 2019
We went downtown last weekend and it was really fun! We hadn't been to Pike's yet since moving here and figured it was time. We met up with Jake's cousin at Biscuit Bitch first and it was really good! I got an egg and cheese and veggie sausage sandwich. While I do love me a good fake meat, next time I want to try the veggie biscuits and gravy.

After brunch I got my hair cut (pics below!) and went to Pike's market. They didn't have my favorite dried fruit logs, but they did have super pretty flowers! We also stopped in at a magic shop, which I want to go back to for its photo booth!

We tried the cinnamon rolls from Cinnamon Works and it was really good!

Ok so my haircut! I was slightly nervous about it, but am so glad I did it! It feels so nice and healthy and I feel like it suits me a bit more than my long hair. My bangs always style weird right after but I love the way she cut them and will def not be cutting my own bangs from here on out lol. If I could give anyone a life lesson, it would be: Find a hair stylist who does free bang trims and never cut your own bangs again lol.

This picture was a joke lol. I told Jake about how girls are after they get their nails done and how they like to touch things a certain way bc cute nails. And with a cute nails cute hair combo CAN'T STOP ME NOW. Side note: One of my clients had lilac nails and I loved them so I went and bought the Ella Mila lilac color from Target and I loveeeeeee them.
